中山大学-珠海万山“百千万工程·万山杯”设计竞赛专家评审暨颁奖仪式圆满成功
中山大学-珠海万山“百千万工程·万山杯”设计竞赛由中山大学定点帮扶、双百行动工作办公室、珠海市教育局、珠海市“百千万工程”指挥部办公室等单位指导，由中山大学珠海校区管委会和珠海市万山镇人民政府主办，中山大学中国区域协调发展与乡村建设研究院与中山大学地理科学与规划学院承办。竞赛主题包括“百千万工程”专项节点设计、万山晒场标志门楼及周边地区设计、文创产品设计与东澳岛城市家具设计，鼓励参赛者充分考虑地域历史文化价值，同时结合现代审美和游客需求，打造出既传统又现代、既具有文化内涵又富有创意的景观节点、设施或文创产品。各参赛队伍可根据专业和兴趣从中选取一个主题展开设计，经过多天的实地调研访谈与集中方案讨论，终于在8月19日迎来了最终的成果展示、专家评审与颁奖仪式。至此，本次竞赛圆满落下帷幕。

我院乡村建设共同缔造团队获评“中山大学2023年大学生年度人物”
乡村建设共同缔造队由中山大学地理科学与规划学院的8名研究生组成。2021年起，依托中山大学中国区域协调发展与乡村建设研究院，团队在李郇教授、陈婷婷副教授、郎嵬副教授、王劲副教授等老师的指导下，响应学校对口帮扶号召，在云南省凤庆县红塘村和塘房村开展“美好环境与幸福生活共同缔造”行动。基于城乡规划学与地理学两个学科，我们将专业知识与乡村实践相结合，在实践中提升学习力、思想力和行动力，践行家国情怀。

小流域综合治理和统筹发展规划思路与实践——以湖北省十堰市茅塔河小流域为例
作为响应国家生态文明建设要求和推动中国式现代化的重要手段，小流域治理在我国国家治理体系中的重要性不断提升。小流域综合治理和统筹发展规划是统筹小流域内各要素发展与综合治理的重要抓手，现状对小流域综合治理和统筹发展规划的编制思路及策略的研究较为薄弱，如何理清小流域综合治理和统筹发展规划的架构是亟待研究的重要课题。基于人居环境科学理论和规划统筹与统筹规划方法论，构建小流域综合治理和统筹发展规划的架构，并结合湖北省十堰市茅塔河小流域的规划实践，提出小流域综合治理和统筹发展规划的思路与策略，为湖北省乃至全国的小流域治理规划工作提供参考。
典型都市圈空间结构与功能网络联系的演变研究
推动都市圈发展是我国新型城镇化进入新阶段的客观趋势和必然要求，研究从形态、功能空间结构以及网络联系对我国典型都市圈展开演变分析。结果表明 ：（1）均为发展型的国家级都市圈表征出差异化的空间结构，如南京都市圈呈现均衡化形态空间，福州、成都、西安都市圈为单中心集聚，而长株潭都市圈呈多中心空间布局。（2）各都市圈配套功能设施供需匹配不足，资源要素分布不均。（3）多数都市圈呈现近中心城区的向心性网络联系趋势，区域网络协调初步形成。最后，基于研究分析，文章探索都市圈空间格局优化策略以及相应政策建议，推动我国都市圈高质量发展。

乡村公共空间建设与乡村治理的互动与重构——以恩平那吉镇13村为例
在全球化和快速城镇化的进程中，我国乡村地区物质空间与乡土社会的双重凋敝已成普遍现象。在乡村振兴的背景下，本研究以乡村公共空间建设与乡村治理互动为核心，构建“空间—社会”理论框架，提出三个基本假设。通过对广东省恩平市那吉镇13个村，为期6年的空间建设历程的实证研究，梳理出探索、共谋共建、共管共享三个建设阶段，从而归纳出乡村公共空间建设与乡村治理的内在关系。（1）公共空间有效承载地域文化和社会情感，为乡村治理提供了理想的场所和平台。（2）公共空间建设与重构过程能重塑社会关系，从而完善乡村治理的体制机制。（3）乡村建设和乡村治理具有相同的价值目标取向，两者相互作用、相互促进。
